I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family this past Fall. It was a very brisk morning, the fog was just rising, the trees looked amazing and Lake Sylvia didn't disappoint. It was almost like magic as we shot their family portraits. This family truly loves each other and are such a fun group of people to talk to and hang out with for this special time. I know it was cold but everyone braved through it and I think we ended up with some real keepers for prints. Anyway Volz Family you rock! Hope we get to work together again in the future. Oh and I almost forgot one of the most important parts. They are wearing these cool T-shirts in a few of the images and I took a couple detail shots...they actually have words that can be read two different directions. So cool! I am told the shirts can be found at Red Chapter Clothing.

Lifestyle Newborn Session, McCleary Washington

A few weeks ago I offered to do a free Lifestyle Newborn Session for a local family. The only criteria for the persons who entered is they would love to welcome me into their home to shoot in a natural, way with very little posing, lighting, or extras. I wanted this to be pretty raw. This sweet family heard about my contest and emailed me in their excitement and showed me pictures of the nursery. I was thrilled with how much this little family seemed to really want me to come into their lives and capture moments of their one month old baby daughter. They are new to the area and did not know about me previously. They found out through a friend. When I arrived they graciously welcomed me into their home, asked if I wanted coffee and I felt comfortable right away. We warmed up with some family photos in the living room near the windows, then moved to the nursery, their bedroom near the window and then back to the nursery. I wanted to really capture the love between the family members and the interaction with them without me telling them what to do. I wanted the experience to be pleasurable for the baby as well. She did not have to leave mommy or daddy's arms if she didn't want to and they were there to cuddle at any moment. I wanted to do this for someone because I know how time goes very quickly and babies soon grow up into toddlers, grade-schoolers, tweens and teens, and finally adults before you know it. I do enjoy the typical newborn session with the posing and great lighting. But I think there is something to be said about the natural interaction between mom, dad and baby that I love to capture. I really wish I would have had this with my two children. I was behind the camera in almost every picture. I cannot go back and get into these photographs. I make it my mission now to hand the camera over once in awhile. I hope everyone else does this too! Anyway, enjoy the images and congratulations to this wonderful family!

Ice Storm January 2012, Elma Washington, Elma Photographer

Well the weather in Western Washington can tend to be a bit on the Bipolar side and this past week did not disappoint. I actually enjoy the excitement of winter storms. It is a break in the monotony, however this one was a bit on the extreme side. Mother nature wanted to keep us on our toes and put us in our place. Last Saturday started the snow, it continued to snow for four days. We ended up with about 20 inches of snow. Then that snow turned to rain and froze as it hit the ground, trees, anything that came in contact with it. Soon the snow had a one inch crust on it and all the trees became frozen as well. Usually on the hill I live on the night is pretty quiet. During this ice storm there were so many noises breaking that typical silence. Crashing of trees falling, branches crackling as a light breeze came by, it was a very scary sound. Well with all of the trees heavy with ice and snow many fell across power lines. We were without power for 6 hours. Long enough for our house to get to about 62 degrees and the kids started to become restless. My husband worried it may last much longer so we made the trek out of our home to Home Depot for a generator. Amazingly we made it out of our driveway (thank goodness for our four wheel drive full size truck because my car would have never made it) and luckily Home Depot had a few generators left in Aberdeen. The roads were amazingly good going that direction. I knew the other way towards Olympia through the Black Hills would be another story. So my hubby being crafty with electricity and all things mechanical he had the generator up and running in no time and we were able to get warm again and get the refrigerator back cooling food down. We were one of the lucky ones. As I type this many of my friends and family in the Olympia area northward still are without power...going on four days! I am very thankful for our Lineman who are working their butts off to get power to these poor souls. I hope it is restored soon! And mother nature has even more fun in store for us today. A wind storm! I am just thankful the windstorm waited until today when everything is thawed out. It would have been even more devastating if the wind kicked up when ice was covering the trees. I could not go without documenting the beauty of this storm on my camera. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Snow Day! Elma Photographer, Grays Harbor, Washington State

Here in Western Washington our weather tends to be a bit on the damp side. We get lots of rain and the Winter tends to be a bit on the boring side. However if we get any snow at all the entire area goes a bit crazy. Snow here is hit and miss, if at all. We know snow doesn't last long so as soon as there is any accumulation at all we get our snowsuits on and run outside for fun! Of course my kids bring out the "kid" in me. We were out stomping in the more than 6 inches of snow that dropped the night before, my daughter having a rough time since she has only been walking on normal ground for a few months. This snow was a bit difficult for her. She loved eating it, kicking it, throwing it and sledding in it. My son was thrilled to be out making Angels, sledding, throwing snow balls, and having a great time with mom and especially dad. There is just something about snow and Dads I don't know what it is, but it is usually more fun. The following day Dad had to go to work and we didn't have nearly as much fun. Hope you enjoy these images as much as I do. I am even in a couple of them...big shocker! My hubby does a pretty good job, I must have taught him well. For those who are curious I shot these with my Classic 5D, Manual, all with my 85mm 1.8 lens, RAW, lightly processed (mostly just a little exposure lightening) in Adobe Camera Raw.

This gorgeous girl is just as sweet as she is beautiful. I am friends with her Aunt so that is how I was able to meet and photograph Cierra. I knew that the light was going to be amazing on this day and I surely wasn't disappointed. It was very hard to narrow down the images from this session for her gallery. I loved them all! To me Spring is when the Sun finally decides to grace it's presence in Western Washington, and the bees start to come out to see the newly bloomed bulbs. I planted a flower garden full of Spring Bulbs for my friend Selena who recently passed away due to complications from Breast Cancer. This shoot was so fun with Alisha! She is actually a former student of mine when I was a Junior High Teacher. She was in my Social Studies class. She found me on Facebook and decided to have me take her Senior Pictures. I felt so honored, especially since she drove all the way up from Castle Rock. We had a gorgeous day at Lake Sylvia State Park. Even though it was very cold the sun gave us some gorgeous light. I haven't had a good day like this since for photographing seniors but hopefully the rest of this Spring, Summer, and Fall will make up for it.

Not sure if this is what you had in mind but here it is....

Mel,

When I decided to work on my weight, I made myself a list a rewards for each milestone. Even though Dunc doesn’t know it yet I really wanted you to take our picture. All of your beautiful outdoor family sessions made me really want to get our family’s picture taken when I reached my final goal (40 pounds).

In May, I honestly did not think I would lose 40 pounds. I would have been happy with 5 or 10. Since Lexi turned two I have tried to get on top of my weight many times. I was even told by two doctors that my heart frankly needed me to lose weight. However it seemed the harder I tried the more I gained, but for whatever reason (see the journaling from the scrapbook page below) last spring I decided to give it one more try. Slowly all summer something worked.

Now I am 7 pounds from where I want to be and you offered this fabulous contest and my bathroom frankly needs remodeling (so trying to convince D on pictures could be fun) too. I think you know I am a huge fan even if I have not been a regular customer. So I made the page and wrote you this letter. Your work is amazing, natural, and having my picture taken does seem the ultimate way to celebrate my success. Your contest inspired the scrapbook page I attached. I did not know how emotional I was about this all until I made the page. So even if I don’t win at least it motivated me to make a page about me. J

So maybe the difference in these two pictures is only noticeable to me. The one on the right is not even that great but it is the first picture in a long time that did not make me cringe.

Two years ago looking at the 2008 pic was when I decided to start “hiding” in pictures. Hiding with kids on my lap, or sitting on a rock, or even jumping out of pictures if I could. I looked at that picture and felt sad. So defeated that I started to hate getting my picture taken. I looked at that picture and wanted to never see another picture of me. Pictures of myself reminded me that I somewhere had lost control of my life. Somewhere I lost control of me and I did not believe there was anything I could do about it.

Last spring it really hit me how few pictures I really had of me and my rapidly growing children. I realized that pretty soon they would no longer be clamoring for pictures and I decided I’d had enough. Enough wallowing in self pity and enough hiding. I wanted to be proud of me again. I wanted to really smile in a picture. I wanted to feel as beautiful as my daughter told me I was.

I know losing or gaining 30 pounds does not make me beautiful. What makes me beautiful is that I found me again. I spent a little time everyday focusing just on me. Everyday for six months I’ve become a little healthier. I’ve believed in myself a little more. I’ve had something to smile about. As a teacher and a mom, it’s been a long time since I made me a priority. So now I am ready. I am ready to stop hiding. I am ready to celebrate me.

I could not wait to do this session. One thing I love about my job is how excited I get for a shoot and how sometimes I just "click" with my clients. This particular family is just so awesome. We had tons of fun and I could have shot them all day long. We really lucked out with the gorgeous crisp Fall morning with the fog over the lake at Vance Creek Park. This sweet little thing came to see me a couple weeks ago. Isn't she the cutest? Most of the babies I have photographed this year have been little boys so it was a real treat to finally be able to shoot a little girl. Momma came with all the cute little headbands and props. Thank goodness because I have mostly boys attire. She was a bit fiesty at times, which baby girls often are. But I moved fast and we caught some really cute shots. Enjoy!

This was such a fun Senior Photo Shoot. Karlee was very relaxed in front of the camera and was up for anything. I am so glad we lucked out with a gorgeous day at the Satsop Bulb Farm and then to my family's property in Elma. Karlee loves the outdoors and is very artistic. I think these locations definitely suited her personality. She brought her sister along for a few sisterly graduation portraits. We really lucked out at this Senior Session with the few breaks in the rain. We had just enough time to get some really great shots in. The location was in Tenino at the Nelson Homestead and boy did we find some cool rustic backdrops. Of course in order to get some of those colors you have to have the Western Washington rain to produce that bright green mold and moss. Loved how these images turned out. GIRL~

I found out last week that we will be bringing a precious little girl into our family at the end of the Summer. With this news I am completely thrilled. My three year old son was not as excited, as he asked specifically for a baby brother. However I think his heart will completely melt when he meets her for the first time.
As you can imagine there will need to be some changes happening at home and business with the new bundle of joy's arrival.
I have decided to not take any further sessions on the weekends so that I can keep those days for my family and getting things ready for the baby.
Because there is so much more daylight I can take weekday evening sessions after 5:30pm. I will be only taking one session a week so I must have serious inquiries only.

My Session fee has gone up to a flat rate of $150 and that is due in full at the time of booking. A packet will be mailed out with a contract that must be signed and returned within 5 days to secure your spot. My minimum order for Full Sessions is now $250.
I will be posting an online gallery with every session from now on. If you choose the online gallery option only I will offer an early ordering incentive. However all specialty items and collections must be ordered in person or over the phone.
My last session before the baby will be the last weekend of July. I will be on maternity leave for at least two months. I will keep everyone informed as to when I will be taking appointments again after September. I may start back very slowly.
Even though I will not be taking on new appointments I will be sure to keep everyone updated on how my little girl and I are progressing at home. I am sure there will be quite a few photo opportunities.

Happy Earth Day! Instead of doing this blog yesterday, I celebrated by taking my son to Tumwater Falls park for a hike. We had a lot of fun enjoying the gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery.
I have been having some real issues lately with trying to find balance in my life between being a good mom, wife, and also making time to be a great photographer for my clients. Yesterday I was a great mom and wife because I spent the entire day with my son doing things that he really loved. I also had dinner ready for my husband and we had great conversation at the dinner table. I did not, however spend time working on my business yesterday so now I am a bit behind. I also did not spend any time working on housekeeping, so I am behind in that area too.
I know everyone comes to a point in their lives where they need to make some changes to find balance. Right now I am trying to figure out what should be done so that the entire family can be happy. With the arrival of our new bundle of joy at the end of the Summer I will have to be even more diligent about balance.
We will see where life takes me next.
Whatever happens I know what makes me happy and that is nature. I love taking pictures of it and it really makes me happy to be making this blog post of some of my favorite images from the past year.

I am so glad the weather turned out decent for this gorgeous Senior's Photo Shoot. We started out at the Bulb Farm in Satsop because the flowers were in full bloom and gorgeous. We did however have some issues with out of control wind and lots of flowing hair. We ended up moving to my family's private property on the Mox Chehalis to finish the shoot. I could not stop oohing and aahing over these images once I viewed them when I came home from the shoot. This girl has truly amazing features, especially her eyes. They really are that blue. The light that day really brought them out. Enjoy the images and I hope Laci has a great finish to her Senior year!

It is a lot of work but so rewarding. I know with each newborn I get a little bit better but I am extremely happy with these. I can't wait to get my hands on the next newborn this Saturday. Princess Party

Now what little girl wouldn't dream of having a party where you get to dress up like a princess, get your hair curled and pinned, nails painted to perfection, and of course the cake with lots of frosting? 52 week project: Week One~Around My House

Sometimes I get so caught up in my new photography business I forget to take time for myself. Stopping to take images for fun, without any stipulations, and only myself to "impress" is very therapeutic and relaxing.
Many photographers challenge themselves with different yearly photography goals such as the 365 project, where you must take a self portrait every day and post it. Others do a more scaled down 52 week project where you must take an image a week.
Many of these projects have themes and growth that you must strive towards.
Knowing myself and the time I have, I did not think I could achieve a 365 project.
I read on another photographer's blog that he is doing a 52 week project where he has chosen to take one day a week to do a photography "walk".
This idea really sparked my interest. I decided it was something that was "doable" for me. So once a week for the next 52 weeks I will show you some of my own personal work from my photography walks.
This first week my son and I walked around my yard at my home. There are so many interesting things "right under your nose". You just need to stop to look.

"I would like to nominate my awesome sister-in-law Amber and her amazing husband Andrew for a maternity shoot. I am so excited that they are expecting a little one on Independence Day 2010. I haven't had the heart to tell them yet that they will be losing a whole lot of independence with this event. (Good luck even going to the bathroom on your own for a few years, guys...) I just know that they're going to be phenomenal parents and I have to say that I so appreciate what a stellar job they've been doing as an Aunt & Uncle for as long as my kids can remember.

I think that Amber & Andrew's baby is extra blessed to be coming to parents that really, really want it. In this crazy, confusing world that doesn't always make sense, these two people (who are sure to be better parents than just about anyone I know) have been trying to conceive for 4 years. After much poking and prodding and $17,000+ later, we're celebrating a successful IVF. In fact, today (November 17Th), they got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Talk about a happy day!

I believe that they deserve to win this contest for two reasons. First of all, I think that anyone who's poured $17,000 into their kid before it's even conceived could use any breaks they can get. I know that they're feeling the pinch financially, as worth it as all of these medical bills may be. Second, I think they're too beautiful not to shoot. (Okay, that just sounds wrong... No, I don't think that beautiful people deserve to be shot... I mean, just with cameras... Anyway...) As you can see from the attached photo, they're a very good looking couple. Amber is gorgeous and sure to be a stunning expectant mom when her cute baby belly arrives. I hope you select this great couple so that they can have photo evidence of just how much she was glowing in anticipation of the bundle of joy that they had to fight so hard for. "

This was such a fun photo shoot. I have to admit I was a little nervous with such a large group but they were so easy going and full of energy. We lucked out with a day without rain and I think these turned out great. I smile every time I see the jumping shots and the poses the boys came up with on their own. They are just hilarious.

So it has been one year since I decided to open my business Melinda Tuttle Photography, and it has been quite an exciting endeavour. This year has been a whirlwind. From my very first "real" session: Natalie The Christmas Baby, to my very busy end of this year where I thought I was going to lose my mind trying to finish up every one's edits so they could order prints in time for Christmas. I want to thank everyone for supporting and encouraging me to do this. I am truly inspired daily and my love for this art form has never been so high. Sometimes I just think things happen for a reason and as they should. There are certain people who I have met along this journey that have been such a support like my Target Friend Holly who is my business "go to girl" and will hopefully help me soon with my bookkeeping! She is awesome at that . To my Photography friends I have met or have only known virtually along the way like Ben Bender, Marie Martineau, Keri Meyers, Melanie Defazio, Heather Lynn who created my awesome logo, Michelle Kane, who's photography is amazing and I am in awe that she even talks to me.
I have learned so much from different forums and groups through Flikr, DPS, PPA, and people I had the guts to ask a question and they generously answered.
My ability to process images has grown immensly and my workflow has become much quicker now that I have the fundamentals of Photoshop and hopefully soon Lightroom. I will need a new computer for that though since I have maxed out the capacity of the one I have. I have a wish list that is pretty long.
In this short year I have branded myself so I have coordinated brochures, packaging, and business cards so that people recognize me when they see it. I have gone to a few classes and trainings and have been mentored by some wonderful photographers.
I have purchased a new 50d body along with new lenses: Canon 28-135 IS, Canon 85 1.8, Canon 35 f2 and have a wish list for even more items to add to this. (I really wish Santa would bring me the Canon 24-105 IS, or the 100 mm Macro. The Canon 5d Mark II would be awesome too~)
I have purchased a studio light set and played with it along with my speedlight. Studio lighting is not really my favorite style to shoot. I definitely prefer outdoor lifestyle portraiture. I feel like I can be so much more creative and free.
I have learned through this year that I adore taking pictures of maternity, newborns (which can be very hard but rewarding), seniors and boudoir. I do enjoy family sessions too but I feel like I can really connect to a one on one session or a couple. I think the connection to the photographer is one of the most important aspects to photography. When they are comfortable with you then the pictures just seem to happen.

I have made some big changes this year and hope to make even more big changes next year for the better for me and my clients.
Beginning Jan. 2010 I will have some new studio policies in place along with some exciting new products.
I am so excited to be offering Press Printed Albums and Coffee Table Books. The first ones I have printed I am just in love with! I will be offering books in sizes 5x5, 8x8, and 10x10...and in the future 12x12. In addition the newest craze are accordion books. They are just so darn adorable. They are sized 3x3, small enough to fit in your purse or pocket and hold up to 12 images. This will be a specialty item and will only be able to be purchased after a minimum order.

We had to reschedule once due to poor weather but we could not have gotten a better day for the reshoot. I love how the sun gave us some fun lens flare and the fall color in the trees really was spectacular. Add to that the calm clear water of the lakes and we had a perfect backdrop for family photos. Should I say Griswold Family photos? This session was so hilarious now that I think back to it from the Christmas tree falling apart as we moved it to the other part of the house and ornaments breaking on the floor, to my strobe lights not working and we almost had to remove a Chandelier, which was in the way. This session was definitely full of excitement. I think the images were well worth it and they will go down in history. What To Wear Weekend~Family Portraits~Elma, WA

Trying to decide what to wear for family portraits this fall and winter? Here is a great example with coordinated simple outfits that can be found at Old Navy.
Remember you don't have to completely match just have colors that compliment each other. Bold colors are great and look much better than muted tones, especially outdoors.
Remember to think about where you will be hanging these pictures. Will what you are wearing compliment the couch in your living room which your portrait may be hung above?

Huge logos are a bad idea and very distracting to the overall image. Glasses and hats can be distracting also. Ball caps produce a shadow over the eyes and glasses can show glare. Just keep these in mind when choosing your wardrobe for your family portraits.

These twin brothers are just as charming as they are good looking. I have to admit I was a bit nervous for this photo shoot because I heard they weren't too excited about getting their photo taken. However we soon all relaxed and had quite a bit of fun. I almost had them talked into pushing each other in a shopping cart on the board walk in down town Olympia. They weren't going for it. After getting to know them I have found these two are both Southern Boys at heart and love jamming on their guitars. I am so happy with how these images turned out and I hope you all enjoy them too~

Baby Ella

Man this little girl has really given me baby fever! She is just a doll. I love how her eyes just sparkle and she really has those little feminine features that I adore. From her gorgeous blue eyes and long eye lashes to her cute little curl on top of her head. I could photograph her for hours. Thanks so much Amy for bringing her by for a fun photo shoot!

New Camera!

I just received a new camera a couple weeks ago and I decided to share some of the images I have recently taken. One of my favorite subjects to photograph besides people is flowers. Right now I have an abundance of Daylilies in my yard so they were more than willing to pose for me. I also convinced my son to pose a few times for M&M's. He even sat on my lap for a few pictures. My parents wanted to join in on the photo-shoot action also so they came over and posed for me. They tried to get me into one of the pictures but it ended up being a pretty funny image. I couldn't get my remote to work to set the camera so I had to figure out the timer on this new camera. Long story short I had to get out the manual and look up where the timer was on this model of camera. In my hurry to get into the picture I forgot I still had the book in my hand and my parents both leaned in at the same time and squeezed me out. So yes it isn't the perfect image but I laugh every time I see it.

Miles Turns One!

If you are a follower of this blog you have seen Miles from birth to now one year old! Wow has the time flown by. He had so much fun playing in the grass and watching Momma and Daddy blow bubbles. This was a fun photo shoot and I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.

New Product Images

Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer so far. We have had such amazing weather and I am so thankful for it. This may be the best weather I can ever remember for the first couple months of summer.
I just wanted to share a couple product images that I have recently taken.

Storyboards

The first image is a Storyboard. Storyboards make a nice display for a table top, mantle or shelf. A storyboard is a group of images that tell a story. Storyboards come in many sizes from 12x12 to 16x20, but the image shown is a 10x20 Storyboard. The print is matted on Foam Core for durability and placed on a stand. The stand and matting are included in the price. As a complementary service I design one storyboard for every session. To change the original storyboard or create a new design a creation fee is added. Promo Cards

The second image is of my Promo Cards. Promo cards are great to toss into Thank You Cards, Save The Date cards, Christmas Cards, Announcements, and an inexpensive way to give out small images to friends and family. They are printed on Press Paper and the size of a business card. Promo Cards come in packs of fifty with your choice of images to be printed on both sides of the cards. I can also print one or two words on one side. Promo Cards can be printed with a watercolor finish, pearl finish or UV protected. Prices can be found by clicking on my rates tab. Right now I am giving a discount on my Promo Cards when ordering at your proofing session.

5x5 Leather Album

The third image is of my 5x5 Leather Album. This is a very affordable and gorgeous album. You can choose 10 of your favorite 5x5 images for this album with an additional image to be slipped in the front cover. The end result is truly striking. I am also giving a discount on my leather albums when placing your order at the session date. You can receive up to $75 discount.

Gallery Wrap

The last image is of a Gallery Wrap. Gallery Wraps are an elegant and modern way to showcase images. The image is printed on canvas and then stretched around a wooden frame. They come with a wire or brakets so they are ready to hang. No need to go out and buy a frame. I am in love with this form of displaying images. Gallery Wraps will not work for every image because you will need to have enough room on all four sides of the print to wrap around the frame.
The image shown is 16"x20". I would suggest going large when ordering a gallery wrap. You will not be disappointed.

The Brogan Boys

Loved this family and the two boys were completely hilarious. At first they did not really want their picture taken To get them to ease up for the camera we went on a Safari through the grass and woods. They swore they saw a giraffe and monkeys swinging from trees. To get some smiles we talked about bodily functions...you know guy-talk. One of the brothers really enjoyed getting his picture taken and was up for anything the other was all about getting some ice cream after. Can you guess which is which?

I had so much fun at this photo shoot. I loved how charismatic the girls were and the day was just perfect for it. This was my debut shoot at "The Property" which is where I will be doing most of my outoor shoots from now on. I am so happy with how they turned out. It was extremely hard to narrow down which I wanted to share with you. Enjoy!

This was such a fun photo shoot with a gorgeous girl I have known since she was in the 7th grade! I feel so special to be able to share this moment with her by taking her maternity images.
This was my first outdoor maternity shoot and it turned out even better than I had imagined. Hope to see little Daniel in a few months. Congratulations!

Harley Davidson Party

Here are some images taken from the neighbor's Harley Davidson party she had recently. They were a real fun bunch. They rode up from California and are looping down along the Columbia Gorge down to Bend, Or. and then back to California. (I hope that is correct) I remember hearing some were traveling from Nevada too.
I had a lot of fun chatting with them and getting some fun close-ups of their bikes. Enjoy!

I decided my web/blog needed a face lift and spent most of yesterday working on getting it up and running. I am really excited by this new change. With the wide format I can have much larger pictures for viewing. I also have buttons across the top for easier maneuverability through the site. I am still making some adjustments but let me know how you like the New Look! I am also curious to know if the comments are working. This is one issue with the new template.

Summer Fun!

We had an impromptu photo session at the park last week with my friend Holly's two boys and my son. If you have a toddler/preschooler you know how hard it is to get them to "pose" for a picture. We really lucked out and had two things going for us: a fun blue wall for a backdrop and a John Deere Tractor for them to be entranced with. They watched the tractor moving dirt while I snapped away with my camera. These blond haired, blue-eyed cuties are really going to be heart breakers.
I just had to share some images from this unplanned shoot because they are just too precious. Enjoy!

I absolutely adore this family. I think they are all so photogenic and just plain adorable. I couldn't wait to share these with you. There are many more but I narrowed it down to these favorites of mine. I took more time than usual playing with light while processing these images. I was going for a sweet-vintage "Timeless" feel with some of the black and whites. Hope you enjoy them. This first one may be one of my all time favorites.

Come To The Art Show

Grays Harbor College which is located in Aberdeen Washington is hosting an Art Show June 18th through August 7th.
I have 8 framed prints entered into this show. This is the first time I have ever been in an Art Show so I am very excited.

There will be an evening reception for the artists and their friends and family. Please come if you can.
It will be located in the library on the college campus June 18th from 6pm to 8pm.

When you get to the college park at the very top. Walk down to the main area. The library is the first large building on the left facing the road coming up the hill. Any entrance in that building will get you in the library.
